I continue to believe that we as a community must take greater pride in our neighborhoods.
Once each spring, summer and fall I organize volunteer clean-ups that are held at three locations in the 17th district:
• Gratiot Avenue between Iroquois and Wellington Crescent
• The bike path along Wellington Crescent from Gratiot to Harper
• The four corners at Harper and Metro Parkway
Neighborhood Clean Up Spring 2010 DATES:
~ Come for 20 minutes or the whole time.
~ Bring your own gloves, or use a pair of ours.
~ We provide a "litter grabber" for litter pick up.
~ We clean rain or shine.
Tuesday, April 13: 5:30 pm - Dusk
Garden Clean Up Cass & Railroad Tracks in Mount Clemens.
Thursday April 15: 4 pm - Dusk
Bike Path Clean Up & Tree Mulching meet at Metropolitan Parkway & Harper.
